Comparison of Physical Properties of Polyamide(Nylon) Threads Used in Gillnets (Coasts of Hormozgan Province). شیلات و آبزیان Fisheries and Aquaculture پژوهشي Research/ Original/ Regular Article <div style="text-align: justify;">پیشینه و اهداف: مطالعهی حاضر  با هدف بررسی خصوصیات فیزیکی (استحکام پارگی و قابلیت کشسانی) نخهای پلی آمید(نایلون)  انجام گرفت. موادی که در ساختار تورهای ماهیگیری مورد استفاده قرار میگیرند با توجه به ماهیتی که دارند از این قابلیت برخوردار هستند که  در محیط زنده و غیر زندهای که در آن گونهی هدف صید و سایر منابع مرتبط با آن زندگی میکنند دچار تغییراتی شوند و یک ماهیگیر باید هنگام به کارگیری ابزار صید علاوه بر انتخاب مواد مناسب در قسمت خاصی از ابزار صید باید به سایر خواص مواد از جمله استحکام، کشسانی، انعطاف پذیری، چگالی و خواص مختلف دیگری که با یکدیگر مرتبط هستند توجه کامل داشته باشد. روش‌ها‌: نمونههای شاهد از تورهای پلی آمید نو و استفاده نشده و نمونههای تیمار از تورهای گوشگیر یک، دو و سه سالهی استفاده شده در استان هرمزگان تهیه گردید. اندازهگیری میزان استحکام پارگی به وسیلهی دستگاه اینسترون مدل تی ام- اس ام 5566  ساخت کشور انگلیس انجام شد. برای مقایسه دو به دو میزان خواص فیزیکی نخها در طول استفاده از آزمونT-test  جفتی استفاده گردید. یافته‌ها: بر اساس نتایج تورهای شاهد با میانگین زمان پارگی، 1/20 ثانیه و استحکام پارگی (94/10±98/270) نیوتن از استحکام پارگی و زمان پارگی بالاتری نسبت به تورهای یک، دو و سه ساله به ترتیب با میانگین زمان پارگی 27/15، 175/12 و 18/11 ثانیه و استحکام پارگی(99/16±5/118)، (16/14±47/92) و(40/70±73/73) نیوتن برخوردار بود و مقادیر آزمون T-test جفتی برای نمونهها اختلاف معنیداری را نشان داد(05/0P<). مقادیر ازدیاد طول برحسب درصد چهار نمونه آزمایش تورهای شاهد و تورهای 1، 2 و 3 ساله به ترتیب (36/3±14/30)، (25/1±91/22)، (62/5±12/19) و (62/2±78/16)  میلی متر به دست آمد و طبق نتایج متغیر ازدیاد طول هر سه تیمار اختلاف معنیداری را با نمونه شاهد نشان دادند(05/0P<). ﻣﻘﺎدیﺮ ﺿﺮیﺐ پارگی ﻧﯿﺰ ﺑﻪﺗﺮﺗﯿﺐ(77/1±86/43)، (75/2±18/19)، (29/2±96/14) و (19/1±93/11) ﺑﻪدﺳﺖ آمد. نتیجه‌گیری: ﺑﻨﺎﺑﺮایﻦ ﺑﺎ ﺗﻮﺟﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻧﺘﺎیﺞ کلی ﺣﺎﺻﻞ از ایﻦ ﺗﺤﻘﯿﻖ، ﺗﻮرﻫﺎی گوشگیر ﺑﻌﺪ از ﻋﻤﻠﯿﺎت ﺻﯿﺪ و اﺳﺘﻔﺎده در آب از ﻧﻈﺮ زﻣﺎن پارگی، استحکام پارگی، ازدیﺎد ﻃﻮل و ﺿﺮیﺐ پارگی ﻧﺴﺒﺖ ﺑﻪ ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪ ﺷﺎﻫﺪ اﺧﺘﻼف معنیداری را ﻧﺸﺎن دادند(05/0P<).</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Objectives: The present study aimed to investigate the physical properties (Breaking strength and Elongation) of polyamide(nylon) yarns. The materials used in the structure of fishing nets, due to their nature, are capable of undergoing changes in the living and non-living environments where the target species and other related resources reside. A fisherman, when using fishing gear, must pay full attention not only to the selection of appropriate materials for a specific part of the fishing gear but also to other material properties such as strength, Elongation, flexibility, density, and various other interconnected properties. Methods: Control samples were prepared from new and unused polyamide nets, and treated samples were prepared from 1, 2, and 3-year-old gillnets used in Hormozgan province. Breaking strength was measured using an Instron model TM-SM 5566 machine made in England.. A paired T-test was used for pairwise comparison of the physical properties of the threads during use. Findings Based on the results, the control nets, with an average Breaking time of 20.1 seconds and Breaking strength of 270.94 ± 10.98 N, had higher Breaking strength and Breaking time compared to the 1, 2, and 3-year-old nets, with average tear times of (15.27, 12.175), and 11.18 seconds and Breaking strengths of (118.5 ± 16.99) N, (92.47 ± 14.16) N, and (73.73 ± 70.40) N, respectively. Paired T-test values showed a significant difference between the samples (P < 0.05). The elongation values(in percent) for four net samples – control nets and 1, 2, and 3-year-old nets, respectively – were (30.14 ± 3.36), (22.91 ± 1.25), (19.12 ± 5.62), and (16.78 ± 2.62) mm. According to the results of the elongation variable, all three treatments showed a significant difference with the control sample(P < 0.05). The Breaking coefficient values were also obtained as (43.86 ± 1.77), (19.18 ± 2.75), (14.96 ± 2.29), and (11.93 ± 1.19), respectively.
