In today&rsquo;s societies, due to technological advancements, humans interfere significantly with the environment, leading to extensive changes in human life and the natural state of the environment. Given the destructive effects and the resulting issues, numerous groups and associations have been formed to prevent such exploitative actions. By enacting and enforcing laws and regulations, it is possible to support and cooperate with these entities.</span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">&nbsp;<b><span style="font-size:9.0pt"><span style="background:#2e74b5"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="color:white">Methodology:</span></span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="line-height:115%"> The main question and, indeed, the primary objective of this research is to assess the feasibility of establishing an environmental crimes court in Iran, addressing relevant fields. This research employs a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing upon legal texts and articles.</span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span style="font-size:9.0pt"><span style="background:#2e74b5"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="color:white">Findings:</span></span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="line-height:115%"> Considering that in environmental litigation, granting legal standing to non-governmental organizations to file complaints, initiate lawsuits, present evidence and proof of crime, participate in all stages of criminal proceedings, and ultimately object to judicial rulings represents a major transformation. On one hand, this development addresses one of the existing gaps in Iran&rsquo;s legal system, and on the other hand, it ensures the effective participation of these organizations in the enforcement of environmental norms.
